Dr. Susan S. Mathews-Duvall is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist. She has experience working with adolescents, adults, and couples. Her goal is to offer support, guidance, and tools to help her clients successfully navigate life transitions. Dr. Mathews-Duvall prioritizes forming collaborative therapeutic relationships in which clients feel respected, secure, and open to new perspectives. Dr. Mathews-Duvall specializes in providing affirming therapy for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people, as well as treatment for anxiety, depression, grief, unresolved emotional pain, and relationship problems.
Dr. Mathews-Duvall utilizes a variety of therapeutic approaches, including emotion-focused and cognitive-behavioral therapies, career counseling, mindfulness, and hypnotherapy to help clients gain insight, pursue meaningful life goals, explore and express their feelings, heal from traumatic experiences, and regain emotional and life balance.
